One-on-One Foraging Classes
Looking for a more tailored foraging education experience than your standard large class plant walk? I’m very excited to be able to offer these classes where we focus on exactly what you want and need to learn!
My Teaching Philosophy
Education and learning are among my biggest passions (including foraging of course!). In my sessions, you won’t just learn what to forage, but also how to learn on your own. So we won’t just be learning how to identify this tree or that plant. Instead we’ll learn how to identify all trees, and all plants!
I’ll lead you through my fundamentals of plant and mushroom identification, how to assess your landscape, how to know where and when to forage for wild foods of interest, and any personal curiosities of yours!
I also assess your current skill level and design the level of detail and instruction so that we’re always on the edge of your knowledge, pushing you to learn more!

If you have a particular area that you’d like to explore, we can go there, otherwise you may always defer to my suggestion based on your interest!
Cost
Sessions are $100 for 1.5-2 hours of instruction. Each additional adult $25.
