Private Mushroom Foray with Fungi Expert

Join expert mushroom identifier Alisha Millican on a hike across one of her favorite foraging locations. Find and learn to identify some highly sought-after mushrooms. Group size will be limited to ensure that everyone goes home with some mushrooms to eat!

Some fungi we are likely to find include:

• Voluminous Milkcap (Lactifluus volumus)
• Chanterelles (Cantharellus species)
• Lilac Bolete – (Boletus separans)
• Lobster Mushrooms (Hypomyces lactiflorum)
• The Sour Gold Pored Bolete (Aureoboletus auriporus)
• Old Man of the Woods (Strobilomyces species)
• Crown Tipped Coral (Artomyces pyxidatus)
• and more!

The foray will last 2-3 hours, depending on the heat. Cost is $10 per person. You can pay here directly, or if you’d like to pay in cash, please choose the ‘RSVP’ option. Group size will be limited to 15 individuals, so grab your spot quickly! We will begin at 10:00 am to try to avoid the heat.
