The North Alabama Foraging Club September Plant Walk will take place Saturday, September the 21th at 10:00 am! We will meet at the Rainbow Mountain Trail-head.
This meeting will comprise of a short introduction to wild foraging principles followed by a walk featuring the wild plants and mushrooms around Rainbow Mountain.
This event is free, open to the public. Children are more than welcome to attend, but keep in mind that the subject matter and style of the walk is geared towards adults (there will be a lot of stops and discussion). Come prepared to hike through the woods, and take pictures or notes if desired!
