Foraging Alabama’s Wild Food Garden – FREE Public Talk

May 6 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Did you know North Alabama is full of wild food from species native to this area? Some you may have heard of, like black walnut or blackberries. Others are more obscure, like paw paw, chickasaw plum, or pignut hickory.

Join expert forager Jesse of Feral Foraging in exploring the rich diversity of wild food to discover in North Alabama. You’ll learn how to identify, gather, and process these wild foods for the table, and also how to connect, protect, and promote them so they can flourish for generations to come!

This event is held at the Huntsville-Madison Downtown Public Library. RSVP is appreciated to ensure we have enough seating for everyone! The talk will last approximately one hour, and Jesse will leave some time for questions afterward.
